A highlight of my recent trip to Puerto Rico was taking a catamaran to Culebra Island for an afternoon of beach time and swimming. I’ve been fortunate enough to see some amazing beaches in my life, but this one may be tops on the list. Next week will see a Culebra Island page and lots of pertinent information for traveling to Culebra if you’re planning a Puerto Rico trip. In the meantime, enjoy this picture post to whet your appetite.
We were anchored about 50 yards off shore, and here was the view from the top of our catamaran.
Once on the beach, the views were just as spectacular.
Be sure to check back next week for more on Culebra Island and the islands of Puerto Rico!

Oh my gosh! I absolutely love Puerto Rico! We spent a month there in 2008 and to this day its one of my favorite places to be. Did you go to Vieques too?
