Since so much of the past two weeks was centered on New Orleans, particularly its food, this week’s picture of the week comes from the infamous Cafe du Monde. No trip to New Orleans would be complete without popping into Cafe du Monde for a cup of coffee and the deep fried, powdery sugared goodness of its beignets.

The only thing that would be more enticing than this picture right now is a large glass containing soem kind of alcohol. Yes it has been that kind of week but it is about to get better!

I have a very similar picture to this from our XMas Holiday in New Orleans this year. The Beignets at Cafe du Monde are the BEST. Quick tip: if you are looking for a table, there is no need to wait in line with the rest of the people just walk into the tent and be very aware and strategic to find the next table to get up.
